We are happy to announce that we have partnered EXPOSURE: a 3 days course in Lausanne (Switzerland) that aims to bring together scientists and artists to create films that communicate complex concepts in science.

Science can appear complicated and even inaccesible to transmit to general audiences. We experienced this and could deal with it while producing La Carrera Especial for Prisa Audiovisual and elpais.com this year. This course is an innovative event that will host participants –scientists, filmmakers, artists and professionals of communications- to collaborate and share skills combining science, art and communication. Organized by BioScience Network Lausanne, The Catalyst, UNIL (Université de Lausanne) and EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), 9am Media Lab will be collaborating by coaching the teams in the production of the short films and being a part of the final jury.

The event will take place on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of December at the University of Lausanne. Participation is free and all meals will be provided over the 3 days. The event is limited to 30 participants (with an even split between scientists and artists).
